Painting Project with Young Boys

A city always takes its own course & changes through time. Some changes are not really desirable, and they make deeper impressions in our hearts. In this materialistic civilization, changes occur without taking much into consideration the needs of the people at large. In the name of modernization, we often become witnesses to changes that annul one’s love for another, bin tradition & pollute environment pushing them into the back seat. Subsequently, in our minds we continue to rediscover the deep emotions attached to all these, sifting through the pages of memory, tracking the changes that left a deep impression.
Impressions are left in all, but it is in the young hearts that their marks are more visible. In this project I collaborated with students of Dhaka Muslim Government High School to find a common ground. The backgrounds of my art works consist of digitally manipulated photos & they represent the status quo. With the dotted images I wanted to connect the artistic world to the real world where instability, frustration thrive as reality continuously makes its incursions into our privately constructed worlds making us look dwarflike in front of the power & its tools of hegemony. The modernized techno-human turns into a virtual entity compared to the homo sapiens of flesh & blood. Capital & its systematic onslaughts on human society where once we were united to ensure that the greater goals of humanity are achieved by connecting to one another.
Over an infant’s crying face, when students began to draw, they simply followed no rules. They freely chose their subject matters – from a basket of food to scenes from the wars waged on different countries & also wars that has been brought on by spurious claims & by imperial design, as was the case in Palestine, the state that is now divided following the Balfour Declaration. However, war for children is just plain evil – a parasite that destroys everything.
War stands in contrast to humanity, memory stands in contrast to unwanted changes, and all these are a way for artists to voice their dissent. This project using the face of a baby is not only an interactive space but also an ongoing artistic endeavor – one that directly addresses the urban, social, global issue of change that never benefits the people & their environment.

Afflicting the myths with radical interfacing

The complication of sourcing common myths & legends are typically sailed inside the type of textual complication as well as splendor of expression while it unpacks a sinuous tale that explains to myths in different psychosocial degrees, on occasion evoking the aboriginal with humans. In its exhaustive dig, nature that often is situated latent throughout all of us is summoned to reply for you to the archetypes of that misguided beliefs are a depository. The responsive procedure that works in place the homo head to the stage of stupor or maybe call it the excess – sensory state, vis-à-vis the archetypes, usually is still an remote land in a additional function of considering in comparison with what misconceptions might cheer throughout us when they are the nearly all pertinent webpage for you to the collective unconscious.
Yet Ronni Ahmed’s supplication of common myths & legends possesses a certain quirk for you to it – a dimension which seemingly discloses his / her subterranean grounds, intent as he is in interlinking numerous beliefs, fantastic tales, and tradition to formulate his or her own cocinero-deb’oeuvre. He exhaustively smoothies the flat coat through which these types of tales are usually inserted-graven as they are upon the mixer cloth because local computer memory producing communal coherency as his / her is a end of offering a device characteristic shift in the applying the mythos together with providing a deep disbelief in the electricity vested & privilege designated in order to the graphics.
He / she sets off an unfastening of the knots along with societal & emotional benefits-to be able to ribbing out and about completely new that means as well as for you to opportunity outside of this means. Ronni makes use of the mind upsurge the particular tales evoke & results of which directly into a aesthetic inundation that will serve to help perturb these individuals off their context. The effect has been an overpowering hundred by twelve feet canvas tent which usually is a meditation upon Noah’ersus Ark - the Spiritual story of the christ whoever large motorboat was the resort pertaining to a couple of every variety & a opportinity for them to ensure persistence of just about all sorts of earthly lifestyle after the revelatory Inundation.
Done this specific massive labor, the designer remaps the cultural signifiers to be able to his or her cardiovascular’ohydrates information, working out worth to be able to the hitherto undervalued stories & situations, getting wholly text messages – equally overrated & underrated – straight into the degree playground of art work, which usually is a newly developed area of a conjuror that trips the duration & comprehensiveness of diachronic meter, deactivation linearity, defying meeting.
Inwards enmity in order to the submissive mind together with the pattern of acquiring the trouble to cart the sacramental cargo from a single geological era to help the some other or maybe in one knowledge domain to an alternative, comparatively unscathed when traveling, Ronni musters an imaginative frenzy comparable to misguided beliefs & folklores merely results in a lore utilizing the remains of some other lore.

Wearable Art

Art always pushes boundaries and forces re-interpretation and there's no reason why the vehicles that showcase fine art shouldn't change as well. Art has been featured on museum walls, in galleries and studios, on greeting cards and billboards and many other traditional and contemporary settings.

Another area that has recently opened itself up to vivid and sophisticated interpretations of fine art is fashion apparel. Famous works of art have long been featured on t-shirts but the new look of wearable art offers embroidered reproductions that replace common logos with digitally enhanced thread color designs based on original works of art.  One of the problems with traditional logos and designer labels is that it is static and too recognizable as a brand symbol. This lessens the impact of the image since people who see it associate it with marketing.

However, when you have digitally recreated embroidered images from original acrylic paintings on high quality cotton polo shirts and casual wear tops the effect is much more moving and memorable. Not every piece of art transitions well to wearable art but the popular theme of equine imagery and horses is one motif that can evolve from the canvas to the garment and still retain the integrity of the original expression.  With advances in digital graphic technology original acrylic paintings can be scanned and the images reproduced in fine thread embroidery with colors that include slightly altered tones to pick up on the nuances of shading and color depths. This technique works well with horse art since it allows for the powerful and bold images of horses to be reproduced carefully enough to capture the same life, emotion and aesthetic appeal of the original painting.

Technology has always been a reluctant tool of the "pure" artist. Bravely locked in his quest for truth the artist sometimes misses a unique opportunity to showcase his works due to a difficulty in handling expression and marketing. But with wearable art an avenue has opened up for artists to engage wide audiences in a tasteful and understated manner that relays not only the fine art image but also the care taken in how the artists has chosen to display the art. Equine theme apparel is just one example of a burgeoning trend towards more captivating forms of wearable art.
